Before VAYA, Marc managed retail operations on cruise ships — teams of 15+, running sales, marketing, and customer operations simultaneously across multiple venues. That experience taught him how to build something people actually want to use, and how to run it properly.

When he came to the UK, he drove for Uber. It gave him something most platform founders never have — a ground-level view of exactly how the system works from the inside. Every fare, every route, every night when the numbers didn't quite add up. He understood the gap not from a boardroom but from the driver's seat.
